If you are looking for post-apocalyptic fiction that is not YA, you might want to consider Joeseph D'Lacey's Black Feathers.

I'm still reading it. So far it is interesting, with the narrative switching back and forth between two young people. One is living during the breakdown of modern society. The other lives in the after (many, many years after). Both have a very important job to do.

I am also a sucker for books where stories hold special power, and that is a theme here.

Do you have any post-apocalyptic reads you can recommend?
